Friday Night Hockey League

I'm usually pretty buzzed after hockey and can't get to sleep right away, so I thought I'd start blogging about the Friday Night Hockey results.

Tonight I played on a line with Tim and Paul. I think we played pretty well together. I could always depend on Paul to be along the boards coming out of our zone and I could depend on the defense passing it to him and then he'd tap it to me in the centre. I like anyone who give me the puck :P

Tim had a big game with 4 goals! Some of which took some interesting bounces. Paul on the other hand got many an assist and a stick in the gut... I think. He never really made it clear what had happened.

I felt like I had boundless amounts of energy tonight and I was so hungry to get on the ice, it felt amazing! I've never been so in love with (playing) hockey as I am now. Anyway, hockey treated me well in return as time was winding down and I was desperate to get on the ice as I hadn't scored a goal yet. Steve, who was playing the other centre position on our team, came off the ice and I raced on to it. I picked the puck off an opposing forward, split a couple of 'D-men', went in on a breakaway, faked the wrister but then went to the backhand and scored. The game ended minutes later.

Yup, lovin' hockey!

First. Blog. Ever.

This is my first ever blog. So I'll just start out with what's going on currently. I just finished all my classes for first year HB Comm at Lakehead University. I did pretty well except for Stats, which I ended up failing with a 42%. I contacted the Prof to see about handing in old assignments that I didn't do to bring my mark up to a 50%. If that doesn't work, then I'll just have to write the special exam.

It may surprise some who know me that I went to counsiling for the first time today. I don't really feel like talking about it, but maybe I'll go into it later.

I have to admit, I feel uncomfortable writing this blog. I maybe should have read someone else's before getting into this so I know what to expect, what's okay to write about, etc.

Anyway, feel free to comment on anything, or give any blogging tips.
